Construction volunteering is unavailable at this time. For other volunteer opportunities, please consider joining us for Landscaping or at our ReStores! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
ReStore volunteers serve customers, load and unload donated materials, stock shelves, move items, tidy and organize. Each ReStore has a unique feel and staff and volunteers fill each day with laughs and fun. Proceeds from the Habitat ReStores help provide affordable home ownership to local families.
Landscaping is a variety of tasks from digging, to planting trees and shrubs, prepping for planting, installing mulch, laying sod, and pruning. Everyone works at their own physical limit – taking breaks as needed.
The Upcycling Team creatively repurposes items with materials from the Prefab Shop and ReStores. The finished items are sold in Habitat’s ReStores to help fund the program. Volunteers will be guided by a supervisor and are required to have experience with power tools.
We offer two different Workshops: Tool Training, and Paint. These workshops are NOT a requirement for volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. There is a non-refundable $20 participation fee for each workshop.
We’re now hosting our Volunteer Information Sessions via Zoom. Register for an info session on line to receive Zoom link!
Habitat for Humanity occasionally requires volunteer help at Special Events. Special Events volunteers must receive specific training from Habitat before volunteering in this capacity. If you would like to become a Special Events Volunteer, please contact us: Rene Cavanagh: email@example.com or (780) 451-3416 x 234.
